Powerful transformer that has especially been developed for low-voltage LED lamps
High-quality LED transformer in a flat thermal housing, suitable for installation in furniture
The transformer provides a constant output voltage of 12V DC (direct voltage) and limits voltage peaks as well as mains-borne interference
Low heat generation saves the electronics of LED lamps
Up to 90% less energy consumption in standby mode compared with conventional power supply units with transformer
0.75 mm² screw connections and strain relief for connection cable
Fixing lugs on the housing for safe mounting
Input voltage: 200 to 240V AC 50Hz 0.23A
Power output: 1W up to max. 15W/1.25A
Fourfold protection against open connections, overload, short circuit, overheating
Temperature range: -20° to +45°C
Degree of protection: IP20, no protection from water/moisture
128 mm x 50 mm x 13 mm
Note for Consumers:
Conventional halogen transformers for LEDs often cannot be used for LED lamps as the minimum load is not achieved by energy-saving LED lamps. The result: flickering, flashing or no function of the halogen transformers.
Always chose an LED transformer that is about 30% larger than the total consumption of the connected LED lamps as the current may be higher when the lamp is switched on than when in use. Otherwise the transformer may not function.
May only be connected by an electrician
Many LED lamps have an integrated rectifier and work with both alternating voltage (AC) and direct voltage (DC). A rectifier converts AC into DC voltage. The 12V AC voltage supplied by the transformer is converted into approx. 17V DC. As the LED lamp only requires 12V DC the superfluous 5V are given off in the form of heat. This heat generation can have negative effects on the service life the LED bulbs electronics and cause premature failure.
The length of the 12V cable should not exceed 2 m.
Please pay attention to the polarity of DC LED bulbs
